Job Description

Online applications are invited for the post of Technology Architect in Bank of Baroda, Vadodara.

Educational Qualification : A bachelor degree in Engineering in Computer Science / Information Technology / MCA from AICTE/UGC recognized university.

Minimum Experience : Minimum 08 years of relevant experience, preferably in BFSI domain.

Skill Requirement : 1. Overall understanding of banking technologies – systems and processes. A track record of having successfully built innovations including next generation architecture designs, mobility, mobile payments, real time CRM & analytics, digital banking solutions 2. Agile/Waterfall experience 3. Experience Devising architecture 4. Strong knowledge of development environments, middleware components, database and open source technologies 5. Strong experience in Core Java, Spring, JSF, and Hibernate/Spring Data JPA. 6. Experience in SOA based architecture, Web Services (Apache CXF/ JAXWS/ JAXRS/ SOAP/ REST). 7. Experience in multiple application and web servers (JBoss/ Tomcat/ Websphere). 8. Experience in front-end frameworks (AngularJS/ Backbone/ Knockout/ Handlebar). 9. Experience in messaging (JMS/WebSphere MQ/Active MQ). 10. Experience in continuous integration (Jenkins/Sonar/Nexus/PMD). 11. Hands on experience of RDBMS like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL. 12. Experience in using profiler tools (JProfiler/JMeter). 13. A good understanding of UML and design patterns.

Role & Responsibility : 1. Planning, Developing and Implementing PR Strategy for the Bank. 2. Media Management - Communicating with colleagues and key spokespeople; - Liasoning with, and answering to enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations, often via telephone and email. - Managing the PR aspect of a potentially critical situation and handling media queries 3. PR Analytics - Collating and analyzing media coverage; - Commissioning market research from PR perspective; - Developing and implementing Dashboard for analysis of the PR performance of the Bank 4. Event Management - Organizing events including press conferences, exhibitions, open days and press tours; - Sourcing and managing speaking and sponsorship opportunities. 5. Content Development - Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media; - Writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports; - Devising and coordinating photo opportunities; - Updating / Modifying / Inputs for information on the Bank‘s website as well as Social Media Channels on need basis. - Any other PR related activities of the Bank as decided by the Bank from time to time.
CTC Offered : Compensation package would be around ` 28 lacs per annum.
