Job Description

Online applications are invited for the post of Technician-B FRP(Fibre Reinforced Plastics) in Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.

Essential Qualification : 1. SSLC/SSC pass. 2. ITI/NTC/NAC in any of the Trades viz, Fitter/Machinist/ Turner/Moulder etc. 3. Pass in Certificate Course inA0 FRP of one year duration.

Nature of Job : Moulding, laminate making and curing of composites. General fitting and fitting operations at shop floor, hardware inspection, maintenance, assembly and dismantling, mechanical integration, Non-destructive testing viz, radiographic inspection, ultrasonic testing, penetrant testing, conductivity and coating thickness measurements etc.

About Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre

Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) is looking for Graduate Apprentices for the training years 2019-2020 in the following disciplines under the Apprentices Act 1961 and amendment Act of 1973.
Qualification : First Class Degree in Catering Technology/Hotel Management with not less than 60% Marks.
Age Limit : 30 years as on 14.12.2018 (33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST) additional 10 years relaxation for PWD candidates in their respective categories. Reservation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates is applicable as per Govt. Of India rules.
