Job Description

We are looking for a technical support engineer who will help support our customer base, both directly and indirectly

Helping customers solve technical issues with their PC's, Printers, Tablets and Phones.

Answering questions from customers and prospective customers about our capabilities.

Developing customer-facing documentation for our website on an as-needed basis. Communicating customer needs and wishes to our management staff.

Processing payments from customers

Work is done primarily via phone, with some email contact.

Excellent understanding of the technical fundamentals of the Internet. You should have a solid knowledge of internet protocols such as SSH, FTP, SFTP & HTTP, as well as the ability to use diagnostic tools such as traceroute, ping.

Strong problem solving skills, able to research solutions to problems quickly and communicate it to the customer.

Experience with removing viruses and installing software to remove adware and malware

Able to easily find drivers online to help install printers or other devices attached to the computer.

Familiar with remote file recovery processes.

Able to install plugins to various browsers to protect the customer from ad's and popups.

Experience with taking payments over the phone and processing them online.

Must have excellent customer service skills and able to successfully resolve customer disputes.

Excellent Windows & Mac troubleshooting abilities.

Experience with using remote control tools in order to remotely provide support to customers.

The ability to be a good listener, and to really understand a customer problem or question and help them solve it.

Excellent verbal and writing skills. Most of your work will be over the phone along with written(email, doc
