Job title: Head-Credit & Risks
We are looking for a Head-Credit & Risks, experienced in a mid- level financial-management role, partnering with Top Management Team, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial Management Strategies.
Location: Kochi, Kerala.
Requirements:
a) MBA / Post Graduation in Finance or CA / ICWA
b) Working with Banks, NBFCs, Rating Agencies or Venture funds and exposure to MSME / SME / TL funding would be preferable.
d) Approximately 8-12 years of proven track record in similar roles.
Responsibilities
Credit processing of lending cases:- The profile would work as a funnel above the relationship manager and the credit manager. It would include delegated credit authority.
The work involves managing a team of risk managers / associates / senior associates, to assess credit risk and suggest structures / solutions for mitigating identified risks in the proposals to be put up to sanctioning authorities.
Overall responsibility for the credit management function and oversee the underwriting / credit control of all loan files.
Assist in the development of a new lending platform and assist in establishing and updating all lending policies & guidelines.
Monitor performance of the loan portfolio and report to the Executive Management Team on a periodic basis.
Credit Assessment:- Assessment of companies by doing periodic data analysis, visits with the clients - sites so as to ensure that the quality of portfolio is maintained at optimum levels. - Predicting tracking and raising triggers by following sound risk management protocols and adhering to regulatory requirements. - Initiating any internal and external actions required to manage risks within defined levels at all times would also be required.
