Job Description

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a primary owner for server issues and alerts that would get triggered by the Managed Machines or internal servers

Work with customers to design and validate new technology solutions to align with their business needs

Perform alerts verification and then proceed with systems troubleshooting and management and close the Tickets within defined SLA as per Process

Provide thorough research on Customer-facing issues

Update the internal knowledge base of new support solutions as required

Proactively communicate with customers on their infrastructure management

Act as a point of escalation for customer issues

Responsible for onboarding/deployment task/activities for new / existing customer

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

Provide excellent customer service and act as a true client advocate

Minimum work experience of 5 years

At least 5+ Years Relevant Server Support Experience

College Degree in a technical discipline

Must have full understanding and experience maintaining, managing and monitoring remote servers running Windows OS

Demonstrate honesty, integrity, fairness and respect with excellent interpersonal skills

Professional attitude, presentation, demeanor

Good English communication skills, both written and verbal

Can listen to and understand other points of view, issues, concerns and respond appropriately

Proficient Knowledge in Managing and administration of Windows Server and knowledge of below-mentioned skills

Linux

Networking (LAN/WAN) experience, with knowledge of switching and routing technologies

Windows Shell Scripting

SQL Server Administration

Virtualization & cloud computing experience

Understanding of firewalling & security principles & technologies
