An open Army Recruitment Rally will be conducted under the aegis of Headquarter Recruiting Zone,Chennai by Army Recruiting Office, Vizag on 20 Nov 2018 at Netaji Stadium, Port Blair to enroll eligible candidates into the Indian Army from all district of Andaman & Nicobar Gp of Islands in Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Technical (Aviation/ Ammunition Examiner) and Soldier Tradesman Categories.
Qualification : (i) 8TH Class Pass. For House Keeper, Mess Keeper & Syce. (ii) 10th Class Pass. For Chef, Washerman, Dresser, Steward, Tailor, Artisan (Wood Work), Artisan (Metallurgy), Support Staff (ER), Artisan (Construction) and all other trades 10th simple pass/ITI qualification in respective trades. Only candidates who have undertaken class X Board Exam would be considered.
Physical Standard : Height (in cm)- Locals - 155 and Settlers - 165, Weight (in kg)- 48 kg., and Chest (in cm)- 76cms & 5 cms expansion.
Age Limit : 17 years 06 months to 23 years. Age of the candidate will be counted as on 01 Oct 2018.
