Roles and duties:

• Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs

• Testing and evaluating new programs

• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications

• Writing and implementing efficient code

• Determining operational practicality

• Developing quality assurance procedures

• Deploying software tools, processes and metrics

• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems

• Training users

• Familiarity with managing databases

• Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

• Manage and lead the team whenever needed

Experience needed:

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer

• Hands on experience in Laravel / MVC frameworks

• Sound knowledge of PHP programming and clear understanding of HTML5 and CSS3

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases

Education qualifications:

A degree and a technical background should be required to gain a Software Developer role. Degrees in the following subjects should be highlighted as particularly advantageous:

• Computer Science

• Computer Software Engineering

• Software Programming and Development

• Engineering
