Job Description

Online Recruitment Applications (ORA*) are invited from desirous and eligible candidates for filling up of various Class-III and Class-IV posts in the office of H.P. Public Service Commission through ORA.

Educational Qualification : (i) Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a University recognized by the H.P. Govt. (ii) Must possess the following speed in shorthand and typewriting in both the languages i.e. English and Hindi at the time of initial recruitment:- a. Speed of shorthand - in English 100/- WPM and - in Hindi 80/- WPM. b. Speed in typerwriting on computers - in English 40/- WPM and - in Hindi 30/- WPM (iii) Should have the knowledge of word processing in Computer as prescribed by the recruiting authority.

Age Limit : 18 to 45 years.

Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Auto Engineering with first class or equivalent. If the candidates have a Master's Degree in Mechanical/ Auto Engineering/ Technology, first Class or equivalent is required at Bachelor's or Master's level.Provided if a class/Division is not awarded, minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/ Division.
Desirable: Knowledge of customs / manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
