Job Description

The Institute will be conducting a walk in interview on 19th November 2018 (Monday) for the posts of Senior Resident Doctors (three years tenure) from 11:00 am onwards in the Conference Hall, NEIGRIHMS Guest House, Permanent Campus, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong.

Qualification : i. Postgraduate degree or diploma in respective subject recognized by MCI after obtaining a medical qualification included in the Schedule – I & II of the 3rd Schedule of Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in the part – II of the 3rd schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (B) of the Act). ii. Satisfactory completion of the compulsory internship/housemanship in a recognized hospital. iii. Candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/Medical Council of India.

Desirable : Candidates having experience in the respective discipline/subject will be preferred.

Age Limit : 37 years.

Applications are invited for a walk in interview to be held in the office of Community Medicine (Hospital Building, Ground Floor), North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong for following contractual positions on purely temporary basis as per the details given below under the ICMR project “Improving health and nutritional status of vulnerable segment of population by implementing multi-component health and nutrition education intervention as a sustainable model of intervention” in Meghalaya.
Qualification Essential : Class 10th pass or equivalent with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized Institute.
Job Requirement : To assist the investigators in conducting the laboratory investigations, field works (Ribhoi District, Meghalaya) and any other works assigned by the investigators.
