Job Description

A walk in interview is scheduled to be held on 29.03.2019 at ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar for the engagement of Senior Research Fellows (SRFs) in project “Centre for Advanced Agricultural Science and Technology-Advanced Centre for Livestock Health”(CAAST-ACLH) under National Agricultural Higher Education Project(NAHEP) in time bound project activity as detailed below:-

Essential Qualifications : Master’s degree (M. Tech/ME in Computer Science/MCA/MSc in Computer Science or Information Technology) with 4 years / 5 years bachelor’s degree. OR Candidates having post graduates degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years master’s degree should have NET** qualification or PhD (awarded) in relevant subject. or Master’s degree holders with the integrated degree like B. Tech and M. Tech (5 years) OR Graduates with 3 year’s Bachelor’s degree, who have acquired professional Master’s degree (3 years) like Masters in Computer Application, M. Tech, etc.

Desirable qualification : (i) Proficiency in web application development using ASP.Net/Jsp., (ii) Knowledge of other web application techniques/programming languages and animation (Bootstrap/Java script/JSON/HTML 5, Flash etc.) for development of expert systems and information systems. (iii) Knowledge of Mobile Application development technologies, Database Management. (iv)Evidence of at least 2 years experience in IT field.

Age Limit : The upper age limit will be as per ICAR guidelines as on the date of interview.

A walk-in-interview will be conducted for engagement of 01 Young Professional-II in the Division of Livestock Economics,Statistics and Information Technology.
Qualifications & Experience : Master in Agril. Economics/Livestock Economics/Dairy Economics or Master in Biostatistics or Master in Agril. Extension/Veterinary Extension or Master in Veterinary Epidemiology.
Desirable: Work experience-in terms of published papers,thesis or experience of working in a research project-in carrying out household survey on livestock related issues (viz. socio economics,adoption of improved technologies,impact assessment of livestock technologies, etc.).
Age: The minimum age under Young Professional will be 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.
