Position: Senior Accountant

Location: New Delhi

Responsibilities

Complete ownership of accurate and timely preparation of Journal entries, Prepared Ledger, Trial Balance, P&L and Balance Sheet of the company.

Ensure Statutory Compliances within deadlines for TDS, GST, Income Tax, Advance Tax, Self-Assessment tax etc.

Prepare and file any other local compliance reporting, if needed

Producing error-free accounting reports and present their results

Prepare and send invoices to clients on fortnightly and monthly basis and follow up for payments. Provide necessary support to clients and solve their queries as and when required

Ensuring billing is done on time and payments are received timely as per the payment terms.

Verifying purchase and expense bills and making payments to creditors on time. Act as a liaison for vendors and customers to reconcile any billing discrepancies

Providing MIS reports on a weekly and monthly basis. Analyse financial information and summarize key findings

Maintaining proper files for all the documents and correspondence made with clients, banks and other outside parties

Skills/ Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

4+ years' relevant experience

Strong understanding of accounting concepts and tax regulations

Comfortable with MS Office (Advance Excel, Word), Tally and ERP

Fluent with English and good communication skills - should be able to draft letters, bank documents and communicate with clients.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem-solving skills. Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
