We have a great opportunity for an experienced Hotel Sales Office Manager wanting to progress at an award-winning hotel in Manchester! The venue offers a wide range of meeting and event space which is ideal for day meetings, product launches and residential conferences.

Purpose of the role

The Hotel Sales Office Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the Conference & Events sales department creating a motivated team who are focused on delivery of consistent and detailed events through up selling and delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

Within this role, key areas of focus for the Sales Office Manager will be to maximise revenue including accurate and timely forecasts and budgets, yield management and on-going competitor analysis. It will also be essential to develop and maintain effective communication between the Conference Sales Office and Operations, ensuring successful delivery of all events.

Desired Experience and Knowledge

·A proven Sales Office Manager within the hospitality and events industry (2 years approx.) ideally hotels

·Experienced team manager with proven ability to target and develop individuals

·Experience of implementation of report process and development of reporting tools via systems such as Delphi/Sales & Catering/Opera

·Excellent knowledge of the local direct conference and banqueting market and third party

·Ability to work under pressure

·Financially aware with commercial focus

·Organised, with proven time management and planning skills in sales office environment

Whats on offer

·The hotel is offering the successful Sales Office Manager a salary between £28,000 and £32,000.

·Salaried 45 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including weekends and evenings as required
