Job Description

The person will operate from Bangalore & travel other regions

Head Sales- North & West(General Trade)

Required competencies

Should be able to determine annual category wise and gross-profit plans for their zone by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.

Should be able to establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales targets for their regions (North & West); projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

Able to Complete sales operational requirements for the region by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

Maintains sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.

Maintain sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets.

Skills and Qualifications requirement:

MBA from a good business school.

Experience in North & West is must

Experience in General Trade is must

Open to travel to North & West frequently

Excellent sales and negotiation skills

The ability to motivate and lead a team

Initiative, drive and enthusiasm

Excellent communication skills

Good planning and organizational skills

The ability to work calmly under pressure

Creativity and execution

Good IT, budget and reporting skills
