Job Description

Programme Planning and Delivery

• Take sessions in the schools/institutes or any Space clients

• Maintain the quality standard of programme conduction

• Plan delivery of programme/session/activities/events on time and formulate and follow the agenda.

• Interact with Students / solve the queries as and when required

• Taking night & evening observations which are at SPACE observation sites

• Preparing students for national and international competitions /projects

• Recording and editing student activities and showcasing them at the right platforms

• Write content for website/ newsletter etc

• Timely taking review of school on running program and taking appropriate steps

Reports & Feedbacks

• Prepare and timely submit all the reports and formats as per the SOP

• Take the feedback from clients and students about the session

• Update the educational database

• File the month end report on the last day of the month

Participation in Events

• Participate in company events like fairs, quiz competitions, observations, Public Watches etc.

• Work as volunteer for all the SPACE Foundation activities & events

Represent company on Media

• Represent company across various media through interviews, participation in the talk shows; write papers and articles in magazine and newspapers as per the company’s media policy

• Represent the company on social media as per guidelines


• Self Training- Take eligibility approval for various program me/products

• Assist the Training officer for training of new joinees

Updation of Teaching Aids

• Update the Lesson plan/Teaching Aids as per the requirements

• Assist the PDT Team for development of product/New content

Science Popularization

• Help in the promotion and propagation of the astronomy and space science educations

Client Relationship

• Maintain the PR with Clients, conduct meetings with School authorities and parents as and when required.

Pre Sales
• Identify methods to generate leads and enquiries.
• Identifies business opportunities with new clients & existing clients for extended products(up-selling/ cross-selling)
• Pursue new/existing client through calling/meeting etc to propose the products
• Create effective pipeline for customers in his territory, and managing the same.
• Forecast business generation on monthly basis for diff. product category
• Prepare proposals/offers depending on the client requirement
• Demonstrating/presenting products to the clients and aware them about the services provided.
• Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales and also negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with clients.
• Communicate the sales through the process to concerned departments(academic support, operations and accounts, Education)
• Handover the required documents to concerned departments for implementation and recordkeeping
• Collect Payment and update the accounts and department records
• Follow up for future collection of payments as per the schedule
Post sales
• Coordinate with the client for status and troubleshooting of programme implementation.(coordination & Execution)
• Report issues/problems identified during programme delivery w.r.t to clients/internal departments in writing.
• Do post execution PR/marketing for repeat business generation.(Example- Feedback/testimonials/programme report/certificates/momentous)
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforce organization standards.
Market Research and Territory management
• Identify all the developments happening in the assigned territory w.r.t. competition.
• Update about all the initiatives (Like Events/Competition/Activities/New projects ) w.r.t clients
• New development in the territory w.r.t to market players in the Industry(Non Competitors)
• Keep a track of all associations/Meets/Conference and plan promotional activities.
