About Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute
Walk-in-interview will be held on 03.11.2018 at 10:30 A.M. at ICAR-IASRI, New Delhi for the following posts under different projects. The appointment will be on contractual basis and coterminus with the respective projects. The incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under ICAR.
Essential Qualification : Master’s in Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/Computer Science / Computer Application/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics or equivalent with 4 years or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having Master’s degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and two years Master’s degree should have NET qualification. NOTE: For further clarification please refer ANNEXURE.
Desirable : 1. Knowledge of NGS Data Analysis, Computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics. 2. Knowledge of programming in LINUX/R/Perl/JAV A/PHP/JSP and use of various software & tools.
Age Limit : Age for SRF should be not more than 35 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates) as on the date of the interview.
