Job Description

Executive Housekeeper

The Executive Housekeeper directs and controls all housekeeping operations and the staff of the housekeeping department. He/she has to coordinate between housekeeping crews in order to inspect assigned areas and to ensure standards.

An Executive Housekeeper manages the priorities and establishes and/or implements operating procedures and standards. The Executive Housekeeper also completes financial management tasks, such as setting and adhering to a budget. Furthermore he/she supports their staff and performs the duties of a housekeeper when required. An Executive Housekeeper also needs human resource management skills such as hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating performance of his/her team.

The position title Director of Housekeeping can be equalized with Executive Housekeeper.

The F&B Controller compiles and computes amounts and costs of food sold and bought from records casher and other summaries. Therefore the departments F&B Management and Controlling are overlapping. Main areas of responsibility are calculating machine to work out profit and loss on each item sold in the restaurant (beverages and food) and record data to keep perpetual inventory.
A F&B Controller should be interested in both bookkeeping and F&B Management.
