Job Description

The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for engaging the following Project Personnel for the UNDP funded Project “Development and Conservation of Forest Corridors In Sikkim: Building Adaptive Capacity of Forest to Address Climate Change in Sikkim” purely on contractual basis for a period of eight months.

Qualification (Essential) : PhD. in Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Forestry/Ecology/Environmental Sciences/GIS-Remote Sensing OR Master’s degree in Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Forestry /Ecology/Environmental Sciences/GIS-Remote Sensing with four years of working experience in relevant field. Desirable Qualification : Preference will be given to candidates having experience in status survey of wildlife species, good communication, writing and analytical skills as well as GISRS knowledge

Age : Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.
