The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for engaging Project Fellows for Project entitled “Human-wildlife conflict resolution mechanism in the Indian Himalayan Region: Risk assessment, Prediction, and Management through Research and Community engagement (NMHS - HWC Project

.

Qualification : Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Environmental Sciences or Management/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University. Candidates with two years field research experience will be considered for Senior Project Fellow (SPF)

Qualification Desirable : Experience /interest in: field data collection for mammals/people-wildlife interface issues; abundance estimation and analysis; behavioural studies; Remote sensing & GIS and working with communities to reduce conflicts

Age : Up to 28 years for JPF and up to 32 years for SPF as on the date of interview.
