Job Description

The Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun invites application for Walk-in-interview for engaging Project Biologist for Project entitled “Current Population Status, Distribution and Threat to Indian Pangolin (Manis crassicaudata) in Terai Arc Landscape (TAL), Uttarakhand: A pilot study” purely on contractual basis for a period of 10 Months. The EQ, DQ and other details of the Project is as provided below :

Essential Qualification : Master’s degree in Wildlife Science /Zoology/ Forestry/ Ecology/ Environmental Sciences/ GIS Remote Sensing with 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualification : Preference will be given to candidates having experience in status survey of wildlife species, good communication, writing and analytical skills as well as GIS-RS knowledge

Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years as on the date of interview. Upper age limit in case of applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories may be relaxed as per the rules.
