Job Description

The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) is an Autonomous / Apex Technical Institute funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for promoting Health and Family Welfare Programmes in the country through Education & Training, Research & Evaluation, specialized services, consultancy and advisory service. This Institute has been awarded various projects i.e. entitled CB-PHEM, in Administration, Centre for Health Informatics (CHI) & Public Health Systems Capacity Building in India (PHSCBI)’’ by Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, USA. The following posts need to be filled up purely on contractual basis:-

Qualifications : 1. Masters Degree in Mass Communication / Journalism or Bachelor degree in Science/ Engineering with diploma Journalism /Mass Communication 2. Two years experience in relevant field.

Desirable : 1. Knowledge of Print Media publication, electronic media broadcasting and also on air Radio program 2. Dedicated towards work and accomplish worked on given deadlines 3. Dynamic, autonomous, flexible, a good sense of confidentiality, a sense of initiative, an ability to plan own work and handle complex information issues 4. Adaptability, team spirit and an attitude of confidentiality 5. Prepare Reading materials for print and electronic media to disseminate objectives of organization

Job Responsibilities : 1. To collect and disseminate relevant information to the Health Services. 2. To support the Coordination Team to collect and disseminate important information on the health development Sectors. 3. To analyze and compile relevant articles/papers/studies in the area of health sector. 4. To ensure the accuracy and quality of information before dissemination 5. To identify publications, tools and other resources, available in print or electronically, related to health services

This Institute has been awarded various projects i.e. entitled National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI), Capacity Building in Public Health Emergency & Hospital Preparedness for Health Emergencies (CB-PHE), Public Health Systems Capacity Building in India (PHSCBI)’’ by Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, USACentre for Health Informatics (CHI) and in Administration,. The following posts need to be filled up purely on contractual basis:-
Qualifications : Law graduate from a recognized University or equivalent with minimum 55% marks.
Desirable : a. Handing court cases of behalf of Government with regards to Establishment and Labour Laws b. Qualified in All India Bar Examination, Research aptitude; Professional writing skills; Research publications in reputed journals on law and governance and experience in Government of India establishment.. c. Experience in judicial or legal work in various Courts, Government or regulatory authority, tribunals, Commissions or any other similar forum. d. Working knowledge of MS Office, Computer handling & Internet browsing.
Job Responsibilities : 1. Preparation of summary para-wise comments on court cases before the Authority; 2. Identification of legal issues for adjudication; 3. Legal appreciation of other Laws / Acts that have bearing on the case; 4. Legal research for precedents of Hon’ble Supreme Court, High Courts and judgments of various commissions; 5. Preparing counters rejoinder for writ petitions; 6. Preparing draft order and any other legal work as assigned by the Authority.
Age Limit : up to 65 years.
