Job Description

A Walk-in-interview for engagement of Professor/ Assistant Professors purely on contractual basis for teaching Veterinary Anatomy to the Undergraduate students (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) is going to be held at IVRI, Izatnagar as per details given below:-

Qualification : (i) Doctoral Degree in Veterinary Anatomy. (ii) Atleast 10 years experience in the relevant subject out of which at least 8 years should be as scientist/lecturer or in an equivalent position and 2 years as a senior scientist/Associate professor or in an equivalent position. (iii) The candidate should have made contribution to research/ teaching as evidenced by published work with minimum of ten publications as books and /or research/policy papers/ innovations and impact. (iv) A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance indicator based Performance Based Appraisal System or an outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field.

Desirable :- Evidence of contribution to relevant field through publications/ patents/ citation index to suggest a vision/ perspective in Veterinary / innovations and impact.

Age : Upto 70 years as on the date of interview

A walk-in-interview will be conducted for engagement of 01 Young Professional-II in the Division of Livestock Economics,Statistics and Information Technology.
Qualifications & Experience : Master in Agril. Economics/Livestock Economics/Dairy Economics or Master in Biostatistics or Master in Agril. Extension/Veterinary Extension or Master in Veterinary Epidemiology.
Desirable: Work experience-in terms of published papers,thesis or experience of working in a research project-in carrying out household survey on livestock related issues (viz. socio economics,adoption of improved technologies,impact assessment of livestock technologies, etc.).
Age: The minimum age under Young Professional will be 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules.
