Job Description

� Should have preferably experience in Fertilizers, Refinery, Petrochemical and Oil/Gas Projects

� Leading the entire Piping Stress Engineering activities to carry out Piping design work.

� Detailed Piping engineering activities for industrial plants covering required design calculations, MTOs, Piping Material Specifications, various types of layouts, procurement activity for piping items covering preparation of enquiry specification, review of quotes and preparation of BID, preparation of order specifications, review of vendor drawings, review of piping content for mechanical packages.

� Review technical requirements of clients specifications and ensure that agreement is reached on the basis of design. Participate in discussions with the client, as necessary.

� Monitor that work and progress are in compliance with the project requirements and schedule.

� Timely completion of designs, requisitions and engineering deliverables.

� Carry out FEED, proposal (including work hour estimate) and detail engineering activities of Piping and Stress.

� Technical guidance to Piping Engineers and Designers to carry out piping design work as per the requirements of the Project.

� Adherence to Dept./Discipline Working Instructions and Quality Systems.

� Meet client expectations and maintain long-term relationship with client. Attend to clients feedback and any complaints.

� Should have very good communication skills (verbal as well as written), presentation skills and leadership qualities. Should be good at team building.

Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Design Engineering

Knowledge about 3D software packages like PDS/PDMS/Auto plant etc. is mandatory

Should have handled Projects & Piping Design independently with participation in model reviews

Knowledge on Stress Analysis CAESAR II

Capable of reviewing preparing layout, stress analysis using CAESER II software, review of isometric drawing and BOQ

Design Standards ASME, BS, DIN, ASTM
