PHP 5+, MySQL, JS, XHTML, CSS, AJAX & JSON is a must.

Strong database designing skills

MVC Frameworks, CakePHP, Magento, Joomla & Drupal will be preferred.

Ability to translate complex business cases into clear, maintainable code.

Should be proficient in handling HTML design, tableless HTML adhering to Web standards. Cross browser and resolution development. Experience is a must.

Sound working knowledge of Social networking websites, ecommerce website, directory websites, content management system, blogs, discussion forum, payment gateway systems, API integration, CRM

Commitment to documentation and maintainable code.

Proficient in Template customization, modules integration, Theme integration, custom template, integration plug-ins, SEO, e commerce plug-in

SEO techniques for dynamic websites. URL re-writing with keywords etc.

Should be able to use Hosting control panel effectively

Excellent written and oral communication skills
