1) Working with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, or evaluate the quality or effectiveness of drugs

2) Ordering and purchasing pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs

3) Maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly

4) Analyzing prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.

5) Advising customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment or healthcare supplies.

6) Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies; advising interventions.

7) Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies.

8) Providing information and advice about drugs, their side effects, correct dosage, and proper storage

9) Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

10) Reviewing prescriptions from doctors to ensure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability for the patient.

11) keeping records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, and registries of poisons, narcotics or controlled drugs.

12) Planning, implementing or maintaining procedures for mixing, packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals according to policy and legal requirements to ensure quality, security and proper disposal.
