One Acre Fund is Looking for a Government Relations and Partnerships Specialist to Be Based in Motihari, Who Will Be the Primary Contact for the Local Ministry of Agriculture and other Government Officials and External Partners, and Who Will Guide Our Efforts to Unlock Both Impact and Scale in India Through Partnerships.

you Will Be Reporting to the One Acre Funds Government Relations Analyst Based in Abuja, Nigeria, and to the India Systems Lead Based in Motihari. You Will Demonstrate An Understanding of Local Government Structures, have An Interest in Agriculture, and Be Prepared to Travel in Bihar State.

specific Responsibilities Include:

engage Partners and Government Officials of all Levels with a View to Deepening and Broadening One Acre Funds Local Government Network in India.

exploring, Vetting and Managing Partnerships with Outside Organizations in the Agriculture or Development Sector, Aimed At Unlocking Scale in India.

other High Priority Projects, Aimed At Unlocking Impact in India

managing Relationships with Vendors and Suppliers for Agricultural Inputs

produce Communications Materials to Engage Key Contacts and Keep Them Informed of Our Work, Including Quarterly Reports, Briefing Notes and Official Written Correspondence.

provide Trainings to One Acre Fund Staff On Best Practices for Working with Government Officials, and other Capacity-building Support.
