The position is for managing operations in an accounting company with the activities as detailed below:
1. Core Activities: Monitoring, tracking, follow up and reporting of various accounting activities
2. Client Communications
3. Due Date Lists: Making sure that the due date list for the month are being tackled.
4. Budget Vs Actuals
a. Invoice exception for all departments Variance analysis
b. Hours Deviation All budget Vs actual comparisons by department and by jobs analysis
5. Going through the Responsible Person and Technical Lead responsibilities
6. To plan and assist Management in Strategy and Business expansion activities
7. Look at responding to and following up on any leads relating to mergers and acquisitions
8. Preparing Bios or MOUs for the firm for submission to i) Wealth Management Firms that we work with ii) Recruiters iii) Any other conferences or business development seminars or chambers of commerce that we partake in iv) Preparing and providing Non-Disclosure Agreements ( NDAs)
9. Following up on any action items relating to Marketing material
10. Interfacing with Designer in identifying the content for advertisements. Work with clear deadlines and finish them on time.
11. Working with SEO vendor to keep things up to date
12. Overseeing Project management, IT and administration departments
a. Formulate what will become a consolidated Status report of KPIs that the department lead has to give you
b. Break the functions down to Daily, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual tasks
c. Meet with and review these with them
d. Provide a report to management
13. Quality Control Process:
a. Supervising the function of ensuring that all the emails in QC for the week are classified by department (Tax, Bookkeeping, Audit, Corporate Governance, Admin)
b. That they are reviewed by the TLs and RPs, classified and follow up action taken promptly.
c. Process improvements are implemented swiftly.
d. Management monthly meeting to discuss finding with the TLs and RPs
