roles and Responsibilities:

patient Care:

you Will Be Responsible for Maintaining the Highest Level of Nursing Care in the Hospital.

you Will Take a Detailed Patient Round and Resolve all Patient Grievances Related to Nursing Care. You Will Escalate all other Medical, Non Medical Grievances to the Respective Heads of Departments.

you Will Ensure that all Nursing Staff Follows the Orders Written On the Case Papers Meticulously and that There is No Delay in Nursing Care.

you Will Ensure that all Post Operative and Pre Operative Orders are Carried Out Well On Time.

you Will Ensure that Every Nurse Accompanies the Doctor During His or Her Rounds.

you Will Ensure that all the Nursing Supervisors Take a Detailed Patient Round and Streamline all Processes in the Various Departments.

you Will Ensure that There is No Undue Delay in the Admission & Discharge Process.

ot / Icu / Nicu:

you Will Take a Detailed Round in the Icu / Nicu / Ot On a Daily Basis and Solve the Nursing Related Issues.

you Will Check if the Registers such as Mtp Register / Ot Register / Nicu Register Etc are Completely and Correctly Filled At all Times

you Will also Escalate to the Higher Authorities Any Discrepancies in Inventory / Manpower Management/ Medical Equipment in the Above Areas Etc. that Need Attention.

nursing Staff & Mph:

all Nursing Supervisors, Nursing Staff and Mph Will Be Reporting to You.

you Will Ensure that Your Staff Maintain Utmost Discipline While On Duty, By Being in Neat & Clean Uniform, Coming for Duty On Time, Speaking in a Polite Manner with Patients & Relatives, Taking and Giving Complete Handover and Being Available At the Nursing Station At all Times.
