Key Responsibilities

Must have experience in Discrete manufacturing experience in a mix of products Automotive Segment, Equipment Manufacturing, Machine Tool Jobs, Assembly Etc.,

Prioritise production schedules.

To control, develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes, layouts, habits

and activities.

Ensure quality and ISO standards are achieved throughout manufacture.

To embrace continuous improvement and be the company champion for continuous

improvement.

Work alongside the design and production team to manage projects.

Makes budgetary recommendations and provides the finance department with annual

budget for approval.

Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.

To ensure all company plant and equipment are properly maintained.

Supervise any requirement for maintenance personnel and onsite contractors.

Maintain and update operating and training manuals for the relevant departments.

2 Ensures that all technicians are trained on the most updated version of the operating

procedures.

Produce monthly reports to the management meeting in field of control.

Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the

function.

Ensure that performance targets for efficiency and utilisation are met.

Conform in all respects to the Works Instructions relating to your job role.

Health & Safety

Establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and

systems to ensure:

o Existence and awareness of a suitable and relevant health and safety policy.

o A safe workplace without risk to health.

o Safe plant and machinery, and safe movement, storage and use of articles and

substances.

o Adequate provision of first aid and welfare facilities and support.

o Provision of suitable and current information and supervision concerning health

and safety policies and practices.
