Job Description

1. Ability to manage projects in all other respects including staff management and leadership, performance metrics, quality, deadlines, tracking, and assurance.

2. Lead one large or two small-to-medium projects effectively.

3. Expected to innovate and improve upon document review processes and techniques.

4. Strong legal subject matter expertise; successful candidates must display significant ability to engage with the subject matter expert of the departments projects.

5. Certain non-project specific administrative responsibilities, primarily centered on the employee appraisal process.

6. Participation in department wide strategies and initiatives, especially those focused on recruiting, training, and process improvements.

7. Effectively communicate with counsel or the client with respect to scope change, suggestions for changes, and seeking/interpreting guidance.

8. Oversee client and/or internal reporting and tracking 9. Provide timely responses to client requests or questions. Desired Candidate Profile Ideal candidates for this position should ably demonstrate the following:

1. Knowledge of at least two e-discovery platforms, including managing assignments, workflow (including the ability to suggest changes to workflow), understand platform abilities, limitations, and metrics and reporting capabilities.

2. Effortlessly manage deadlines without delivery delays whilst, have a solid understanding of the profitability of the project

3. Display good judgment in escalating issues as appropriate in the chain.

4. Effective on the floor for sharing learning/insights with peers/juniors/seniors.
