G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development (GBPNIHESD) is a premier autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. The Institute is a focal agency to advance scientific knowledge, to evolve integrated management strategies, demonstrate their efficacy for conservation of natural resources and to ensure environmentally sound development in the entire India Himalayan Region (IHR).
Qualification : 1. Soil Science/Soil and Water Conservation. OR 1. Zoology (Animal Science)/Botany (Plant Science)
Desirable : Research Experience in Himalayan Ecosystem on Mountain terrain.
Application Fee : The application along with Demand Draft of Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) in favour of Director, G.B. Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment and Sustainable Development, payable at Almora, as application fee in case of General/OBC candidate. SC/ST/PwD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
