A Junior Architect works under the direct supervision of an Architect or Lead Designer with the goal of eventually moving up to that position with experience. The work is very collaborative in nature. They work for architecture and engineering companies and most of their work is done in an office setting, although they occasionally visit construction sites as well.
The Junior Architect will help plan and design buildings along with a team of Architects. They brainstorm project ideas, complete design drawings in AutoCAD and assist in reviewing project proposals, remaining a part of the process from conception through development. Demonstrating proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
