Job Description

1. Experience of customer orientated environment

2. Written and verbal skills; excellent phone manner

3. To provide desktop support and general configuration of software

4. To provide network support and general configuration

5. To perform medium level operational duties (i.e. File BackupsLicensing)

6. To provide staff and clients with server support and general maintenance

7. Ensure that all internal IT help desk requests are actioned

8. Firm grasp of how the web works, networking, and software products

9. Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with our Development group to resolve

10. more advanced issues when necessary

11. Resolving escalated customer complaints without the need for team lead intervention

12. Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles

13. Ensure proper recording and closure of all issues

14. Configure production, development and testing environments and ensure availability of these application services.

15. Assist production support and development staff in debugging application defects.
