Hiring for Rf & Microwave Engineer

Job Description:

This position is for an entry level to mid-level RF Engineer.

The main responsibility of the applications engineer is to support the business development manager in interactions with customers.

Responsibilities:

Respond to customer product and support inquiries

Perform experiments in response to internal engineering and customer requests to determine product characteristics using a variety of microwave test equipment including using a VNA, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, synthesizers, noise figure meter, etc.

Respond to customer product return requests including determining fault cause

Maintain communication between customers and engineering team about technical issues

Develop application notes, whitepapers, blog postings, videos, datasheets, catalogs, and other technical marketing documents

Requirements:

BE Electronics and Communication with good in academics.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral; proficient writers would be encouraged to publish application notes and technical papers

Basic coursework in Microwave or fields and waves preferred

Exceptional interpersonal and relational skills

2+ years job experience in the RF industry welcome, but not necessary; college graduates with strong GPA will also be considered

Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility and willingness to accept new challenges

Experience working as a team member toward a common goal helpful

Preferred:

Understanding of microwave concepts such as frequency domain, transmission lines, inductance/capacitance, and basic circuit elements

Experimental experience with RF equipment including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

Location: Chennai

ADS, HFSS software knowledge preferable.
