Job Description

To follow college guidelines.

To plan and prepare lectures in accordance with the needs, interests and existing knowledge of the students.

To prepare lecture plans, in accordance with college policy.

To mark and grade student assessment work and to record their progress and attainment in an appropriate manner and in a timely fashion.

To maintain order, discipline and respect for others among students.

To partake in the various annual activities and programs organised by the college.

To promote understanding of the college's rules and values.

To mentor class performance.

To groom and guide students about how to best face and win in a challenging marketplace.

To build and maintain cooperative relationships with students and/or other staff and to communicate with them on students progress and attainment, drawing attention to special skills and talents as well as to problems or difficulties.

To provide or partake in oral/written assessments relating to the learning and development of students.

To stay abreast with educational best practices and next practices - not only in thought, but also in practice, through study and participation in courses/workshops arranged by the administration.
