International Lighting Consultants (ILC) is an organization of lighting designers who understand the importance of light as it relates to architecture, interior design and products, which are used or displayed in a closed environment or exteriors.

ILC has brought together a team of lighting designers from different backgrounds: architecture, interior design, mechanical engineers, product design and electrical engineering. We have gained extensive experience developing lighting concepts incorporating natural and artificial lighting, as well as designing all kinds of lighting products, control systems and special light fixtures (fittings) to match any architectural requirements.

ILC is committed to the ideals and principles of Michael Zandi, the founder of the firm and Head of Design, foremost among these are our beliefs in "Total Design" the integration of the design and construction process and the Interdependence of all professions involved.

Also we are committed to arriving at unbiased lighting solutions, which respect the vision of the architects, interior designers and meet the needs of the clients. Importantly, ILC is an independent Consultancy free of any ties to manufacturers or suppliers of lighting equipments.

Originally Michael Zandi established the ILC, London offices in June 1990 and He has expanded the ILCs services to Continental Europe and Switzerland.
