About National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research
NIPER-Guwahati is the fifth such Institute to be included in the list of premier Institutes under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. The NIPERGuwahati started functioning from the month of September, 2008. The Institute is presently housed at the NIPS, Mirza, Kamrup, Assam. The Institute has excellent facilities for advanced Education and Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Presently the Institute is offering M.S (Pharm.) and Ph. D Programmes in three branches and planning to expand further.
Qualification : a) M.Pharm / M.S.(Pharmacology) / MVSc Or MSc (Life Sciences) or equivalent degree with 55% marks with NET qualification. b) Two years research experience c) One publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Age Limit : 32 years. Age limit is relaxable by five years for SC, ST, OBCs and physically handicapped on production of suitable certificates from the competent authority. Women candidates are also given relaxation of five years.
