Job Description

Multicast is recruiting for a Senior Manager in the Television Content Aggregation and Acquisitions Group focused on Indian digital cable, satellite and online markets. Based in the company’s Delhi NCR office, the Sr. Manager will be a key member of the team responsible for licensing and acquiring content from Free-to-Air, Free-to-View, Pay TV Broadcasters, Independent content distributors, content producers, their copyright holders and mini-major studios for re-transmission on digital addressable platforms.

S/he will report to the Director / President for Content Aggregation & Acquisitions, providing critical support in content deal negotiation, execution and management.

The ideal candidate has strong critical thinking skills that allow for intense attention to detail as well as the ability to see the big picture. Demonstrated mastery of verbal and written communication skills is also important as S/he will be called upon to lead meetings and give presentations to all levels of the organization as well as negotiate deals and manage external and internal relationships with the key content partners. The Sr. Manager, Content Aggregation & Acquisitions should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, taking the initiative, managing multiple projects, and working under tight time-frames. S/he is also a motivated, self-starter with a keen interest in and aptitude for learning the content acquisition and negotiation business.

Responsibilities and Duties

Participate in all aspects of negotiation (financial analysis and forecasting, contract drafting, security requirements, amendments, addendum's their execution etc. )

Represent the content acquisitions team interests across the company (operations, legal, finance, business intelligence/reporting, content marketing) on a regular basis and as needed on a project -to- project basis

Manage and evaluate external accounts through performance tracking and relationship cultivation in an effort to grow each account.
