COE Deployment Lead

Roles and responsibilities :

Ensure the new Deployment teams (Both CoE and in the Feature Teams) meets their deadlines and delivers on the expectation

Work with the CoE test Leads (BVT, Regression, Integration, NFRs) and FT CI/CD & Automation Engineers to ensure cohesion and removal of any obstacles or blockers

Hold CoE test Leads and Feature Team CI/CD & Automation Engineers accountable to meeting their deployment obligations

Report to the head of Testing & Deployment on the efficacy of the deployment interventions

Review Feature team deployment compliance

Produce and collate deployment reports for each Feature team Scum master

Provide consolidated deployment reporting to the Head of Testing and Deployment

Assist Feature team CI/CD engineers with deployment risks and issues

Monitor the Software Maturity index of releases

Maintain CI/CD Pipeline

Maintain Code propagation ruleset

Maintain deployment procedure

Desired Skills and Experience :

Hands on experience on preparing E2E deployment strategy for a complex program

Proven Experience in assessing virtualization opportunities and showcase business value benefits

Strong practical experience leading a DevOps based CI/CD practice

Strong practical CI/CD automation experience

Excellent stakeholder relationship management

Excellent analysis skills

Excellent communication Skills

Excellent management skills

Excellent understanding of DevOps and Agile principles and paradigms

Excellent Understanding of Measuring performance in a DevOps environment

Can Demonstrate Patience while still driving performance

Excellent Coach and Mentor

Can Demonstrate being a quick learner

Proven Systems thinking experience

Experienced in resource forecasting and allocation, status reporting, risk and issue management

Experience in working in an onsite / offshore model
