Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be expected to become an expert on the various health care research tools and capabilities at their disposal, and be able to present these to clients and prospects, identifying opportunities for business and working with the wider health care team to respond with customized proposals.

Responsibilities:

Actively seek our new opportunities and map out prospective markets 

Manage a selection of existing accounts engage with a vast range of organizations and decision-makers 

Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers

Researching organizations and individuals to identify new leads and potential new markets

Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings

Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

Must have a willingness to embrace and actively support the unique culture and values of the Institute for Health care Improvement

Requirements

Masters degree in communication, Marketing or Business required

A Clinical or Medical background

Must have minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience

Previous health care, sales, or recruiting experience preferred

Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Excellent English Communication skills

The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in the healthcare industry and eager to learn and develop their knowledge of the sector

Comfortable with Medicare applications

Expertise in common Client/Server development languages and databases
Experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support
Excellent oral and written english communication skills
