Job Description

Position Summary:

As a Sales manager you are responsible to develop and foster business through pro-active direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, appointment calls and tours of the hotel. Also develops strategic action plans for hotels to drive measurable, incremental sales revenue.

Identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to optimize performance of sales team. Additionally work with individual hotel teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources.

Business Development Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for Corporate and Travel Agent Room Sales for the hotel.

2. Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.

3. Update action plans and financial objectives quarterly.

4. Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.

5. Represent Hotels in various events and exhibition.

6. Implements all sales action plans related to my market areas as outlined in the marketing plan.

7. Conducts daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients.

8. Able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, develop professional long term business relationships.

9. Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.

10. Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.

11. Able to supports hotels service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.

12. Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.

13. Accompany sales team on sales calls to potential clients to assist in development of the account and to access the effectiveness and sales skills of the sales person.

About Queens Hotel India

Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for the effective operational management of the hotel so Heads of Department achieve and exceed their revenue and Guest satisfaction targets. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Operation Manager Hotel Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work in conjunction with the General Manager / Area General Manager to actively manage key property issues (including capital projects; customer service; refurbishment)
2. Assist the development of meaningful, achievable hotel budgets and other short and long term hotel strategic goals
3. Provide effective leadership to the hotel management team and team members to ensure targets are met and exceeded
4. Plan, direct and coordinate the service delivery of all operational departments in order to meet and exceed guest expectations
5. Comply and exceed hotel and company Service Standards
6. Manage and develop the Heads of Department to ensure career progression and effective succession planning within the hotel and company
7. Seek and respond to Guest feedback in order to achieve positive outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction
8. Hold regular briefings and communication meetings with the team members
9. Strong commercial acumen, preferably with experience in Operation Food and Beverage or Rooms Management
10. Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results
11. In-depth knowledge of the hotel / leisure / service sector
12. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high level of perform and exceed targets
13. Accountable and resilient with ability to work under pressure
14. Knowledge of the hotel property management systems
15. Previous experience in the same or similar role
