Role: Business Development Executive (International)

Job Brief:

A business development executive is a senior manager tasked with the job of helping his or her

business grow and therefore, they are high-level sales professionals. Their priority is to assist

their companies acquire new customers and sell additional products or services to existing

ones; this means the role is a crucial one for any business with the ambition to expand or the

necessity to diversify its clientele. It also means that effective business development managers

are in high demand in nearly every job sector there is, including business-to-business, businessto-

customer, and even non-profit organizations.

Qualification: MBA/PG in MBA/BBA/BCOM /MCOM (IT Background)

Experience: 0 to 2 Years

Role: Business Development Executive

Responsibility:

 Generating business leads and following up on sales opportunities.

 Cold calling potential customers and building relationships.

 Establishing customer needs and selling products accordingly.

 Working to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s.

 Arranging meetings with clients and carrying out product demonstrations.

 Following up swiftly on sales enquiries and sending out information.

 Working closely with other teams to develop new business.

 Researching the market and identifying potential target customers.

 Attending industry events in order to generate business leads.

 Background of the Business Development Executive

 Previous new business experience ideally from a company in the same or similar

industry.

 Proven track record of bring in new business and a natural ability to drive sales.

 Must be self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.

 Well organized with previous experience using CRM systems.

 Identifying new sales leads

 Pitching products and/or services

 Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
