Job Description

The Business Development Associate must be an energetic self-starter who can quickly grasp a start-up company’s vision, develop specific tactical plans and begin implementation upon appropriate approvals. The candidate must be resourceful and able to develop a well-defined time management process in order to progress the vision of assigned companies.

Job Description:

• Building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

• Generate ideas to make the business organization attractive to prospective cutomers and generate ideas to enable sales expansion

• Oversee customer service and ensure regular contact with customers to maintain company’s relationship with them

• Search out and communicate with prospective clients towards creating new opportunities for business expansion

• Locating/proposing potential business deals for the company by contacting potential partners/customers and by discovering and exploring opportunities.

• Also, will be involved in the screening of potential deals by analysis of market strategies, details of deal requirements as well as financials.

• Pitch and sell Simple Lecture academic training courses to prospect and nurture them to become a customer
• Assess and identify their needs, effectively handle doubts and objections to close sales
• Follow-up with customers, prospects and leads to achieve sales and collection targets within stipulated time
• Manage the entire on-boarding process and resolve any post-sales customer issues by working with other internal departments
• Adhere to stipulated call norms on a daily basis
• Generate leads for company through database, internet, search engines & other tools.
Cold calling, cold emailing.
• Handle inbound prospect calls and convert them into sales.
• Experience with customer identification, call planning, account management and closing.
• Fixing appointments for products demos with clients
• Deliver product demos and sales presentations (online and in-person, if needed)
• Be part of customer service and success as needed
