Job Description

1. Manage rates, conversion of enquiries and sales volume to maximise occupancy at the best achievable rate

2. Implement and maintain yield and revenue management techniques to maximise conversions and yield

3. Participate in local and area sales activities and establish networks and relationships with the local community

4. Monitor budgets, actual results and forecasts regularly and take remedial steps immediately if required

5. Discuss room rates with General Manager according to the product value and competitors' rates before offering to the companies

6. Regularly check competitors' rates, yield and occupancy

7. Prepare and/or oversee all contracts and ensure correct details including rates, close out dates and surcharges, contact information and billing details

8. Establish and maintain relationships with accommodation suppliers, brokers, agents, and government departments

9. Follow up familiarisations, complaints and all guest comments and report the outcome to the Unit General Manager and Director.

10. Communicate all special promotions, advertising campaigns, and schemes to all staff members. Organise test calls to check that the communication is successful.

11. Prepare weekly report and discuss during weekly review meeting and monthly report during Monthly Review Meeting

12. Prepare and/or manage the preparation and submission of all reports required byUnit General Manager/Director within the required timeframe
