Job Description

Online applications are invited for the post of Assistant Professor (Urology) in Union Public Service Commission.

Qualification : (i) A recognized Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). (ii) PostGraduate Degree in the speciality or super speciality, i.e. Magister of Chirurguie (Urology).

Experience : At least three years’ teaching experience as Senior Resident or Tutor or Demonstrator or Registrar in the concerned speciality or super speciality in a recognized teaching institution, after obtaining the first post graduate degree. NOTE-I In the case of holders of Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurgiae (M. Ch.) qualification of five year’s duration, the period of Senior Post Graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said Doctorate of Medicine (DM) or Magister Chirurgiae (M. Ch.) shall be counted towards requirement of teaching experience. NOTE-II: Teaching experience in any other post like the post of General Duty Medical Officer or Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to teaching posts. NOTE-III: The educational qualification will be prescribed discipline-wise at the time of the advertisement. NOTE-IV: The qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the commission, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. NOTE-V: The qualifications regarding experience are relaxable at the discretion of the Commission, for reason to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes if at any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them. NOTE-VI: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.

Duties : To perform all such duties in conformity of Acts/ethics so as to ensure, reasonable, acceptable standard of patient care through efficient health care delivery system; to attend emergency cases, when required even beyond duty hours and also assist HoD to perform all such duties to ensure continues enhancement of quality of service to the patients. The job also involve complete management of a Full-time Unit including training & supervision of Residents, Postgraduate and Undergraduate Students.

Application Fee : (a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card. (b) No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No fee exemption is available to OBC male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.

Age Limit : 40 years.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Director Safety (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical), Translator (Tibetan) vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 15-03-2018 by 23:59 Hrs. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process, fee & how to apply are given below :-
Qualification : Degree in Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent.
Note : The word ‘Equivalent’ means pass in Section ‘A’ and Section ‘B; of AMIE of the Institute of Engineers (India) in relevant branch of Engineering i.e (Mechanical Engineering).
Experience : Two years experience in handling various aspects of industrial safety in a factory, dock ship or a technical institution/organization. NOTE-1: The qualifications are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. NOTE-II: The qualification(s) regarding experience are relaxable at Commission’s discretion in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes candidates in respect of posts reserved for them, if at any stage of selection, the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.
Desirable: Experience in planning organizing and coordinating of research, education and training activities pertaining to industrial/dock safety.
Duties : (i) Assisting in carrying out surveys and research studies in the field of industrial safety. (ii) Preparation of safety literature, conducting educational and training programs. (iii) Dealing with matters concerned with Factories Act and model Rules. (iv) Work in connection with enforcement of Dock Workers (Safety Health and Welfare) Act 1986 and the rules and regulations framed there under. (v) Carrying out surveys in ports and conducting training programs for the various levels of supervisory personnel and dock workers.
Age Limit : 35 yrs. The age limit shown against all items is the normal age limit and the age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto 5 years and upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
