Position: Area Sales Manager

Role Description:

The primary function of this position is to develop with dynamism the sales of projects and value added solutions to customers in a defined territory using various combination of Roltas broad IP led solutions and services portfolio (Web Designing, Web Development, Hosting, Domain Registration, Online Marketing, SEO, SMM, SEM, Data Center Management, CMS, etc). This is an Individual Contributor role and involves the entire gamut of sales cycle right from prospecting to collecting and everything in between. The person will be required to prospect aggressively in the market and will require extensive collaboration with technology partners like Oracle, IBM, and SAP etc to do joint GTMs. Knowledge on Smart City solutions, IT-OT operational excellence, and functional knowledge & relationship with municipal bodies & governments would be a distinct advantage!.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Order Booking Targets

Identify possible business opportunities within named accounts as well as hunt for new

Identify, map and build strong business relationships with key decision makers

Drive constant sales growth largely by hunting as well as upselling / cross-selling.

Promote and initiate new business relationships with potential accounts across industries

Provide accurate and precise forecast on sales pipeline

Preferred Skills and Experiences

Consultative IT solution selling experience

Understanding of process and utility industry

Excellent skills in both written and spoken English

Reporting of sales activity through standard sales force automation tools

Identifying Target market and Executing Marketing and Sales activities

Champion of prospect to Customer lifecycle

Formulating Sales Strategies for new market entrant

Excellent grip on written and spoken English and Hindi, regional language is an added advantage
