We are looking for a talented person having excellent skills and experience on Android development using Java and Kotlin Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with backend services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.

Skills

Experience - 3+ years.

Knowledge of Android application development using Kotlin and Java.

Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes

Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices

Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

Good knowledge of Jetpack components, SQLite, Room database, forground and background services using job scheduler, work manager etc.

Should have knowledge about Firebase services like Push-alerts, Analytics, Crashlytics.

Cross-platform App development using Flutter will be added plus

Experience with upload app on play store is added plus

Familiarity with continuous integration

You should have good command over written & spoken English

What you will do

In this profile you will have to interact with a team of web-developers, UI-UX designers and execute the project. You will also have to interact with the process owners and understand the requirement and translate the requirement to a software working model.
