- ensuring safe loading and unloading of cargo: the primary responsibility of an airport cargo loader is to ensure that all cargo is loaded and unloaded safely from the aircraft, following proper procedures and safety protocols.

- organizing and stacking cargo: cargo loaders must efficiently organize and stack cargo in the designated areas of the aircraft while maximizing space utilization and ensuring the balance and stability of the aircraft.

- operating loading equipment: airport cargo loaders are responsible for operating loading equipment such as conveyor belts, forklifts, and pallet jacks to move cargo to and from the aircraft.

- communicating with ground crew: cargo loaders need to communicate effectively with the ground crew and other team members to coordinate the loading and unloading process efficiently.

- maintaining cleanliness and order: cargo loaders are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the cargo hold, ensuring that all cargo is secured properly and the area is free from any debris or obstacles.
