Job Description

A Walk-in-interview will be conducted at Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology, Thanjavur - 613 005 (Tamil Nadu) on 15.04.2019 at 9.30 AM . Eligible and interested candidates can appear for the walk-in-interview for working in the following Projects/Departments in a purely temporary/time bound basis as detailed below:

Essential Qualifications : M Tech./M.Sc./PhD with specialization in Post Harvest Technology/ Food Technology/ Food Engineering/ Food science/Food science and Technology/Food science and Nutrition or Agricultural Engineering / Chemical Engineering specialized in Food Process Engineering. The desirable qualification is Ph. D in the respective disciplines Experience: A faculty retired from technical institutions or a person of eminence with a Post graduate or PhD qualifications having 10-15 years of experience from Industry/organization shall satisfy the following norms: 1. Teaching and research organizations of State/ Central government Institutions/ Universities 2. Central and State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) 3. Reputed Industries 4. NRIs and PIOs working with reputed overseas academic, research and industrial organizations or having a demonstrated interest in Indian issues.

Age Limit : Less than 70 years of age.

Note : Rs.500/- (exempted for SC/ST/PWD Candidates).

Qualification : B. Tech/B.Sc in Food Process Engineering / Food Technology/Food Science and Technology/ Biochemistry/ Food Science and Nutrition or allied subjects.
Age Limit : 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of Interview
Application Fee : Rs.500/- (exempted for SC/ST/PWD Candidates).
