Job Description

We at Sinotrans India Pvt Ltd based in Mumbai, are looking for an “Accounts Executive”, having experience of 0 – 2 years as Accounts Trainee or Executive

Experience required – 0 – 2 years as Accounts Trainee or Executive

Qualification required – Candidate should be any Graduate / Equivalent degree / Post Graduate/MBA

Job Location – Mumbai

Skills Required – Tally ERP 9, MS Excel, Good Accounting Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Good Verbal & Written Communication

Key Responsibilities -

1. Reconcile monthly bank statements.

2. Prepare monthly accounting journals & MIS.

3. Preparation of trial balance stage of Statement of Income and Expenditure and Financial Position.

4. Assist in the preparation of Financial Management Report as required.

5. Administer the accounts Payable & Receivable function and maintain appropriate records.

6. Check to ensure online bank account numbers of suppliers are set up accurately and all payments are properly authorised.

7. Assist with pursuing overdue debtors.

8. Prepare monthly GST returns and submit to IRD.

9. Manage/monitor GST refunds/payments.

10. Process staff expense claims.

11. Ensure the claims are properly authorised.

12. Maintain Bank Balance information.

13. Maintain Petty Cash records.

14. Maintain Cash Journal records.

15. Maintain Cash Book data entry.

16. Assist in process of vendor registration.

• Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analysing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information and trends.
• Prepares state quarterly and annual statements by assembling data.
• Complies with state and federal Tax filing requirements by studying regulations;
• Adhering to requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated Tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual Tax filings.
• Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analysing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
• Liaison with Bankers and other financial/Govt Institutions
• Preparation and Finalization of Annual Accounts, Budgeting & its monitoring
• Preparation of Annual Budget & Financial Analysis Dealing with Internal & Statutory Auditors, Management MIS, Income Tax, Fringe Benefit Tax, TDS, GST, Compliance with statutory requirements and management of cash flow.
• Provides financial advice by studying operational issues; applying financial principles and practices; developing recommendations.
• Updates job knowledge by keeping current with financial regulations and accepted practices; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
• Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
