About the Company: GlobalShiksha is an Accel Partners funded company. We provide supplementary education products from LKG to class 12th. Our target segment is parents of India. Our app called educhat tried to bring parents and teachers together. Our customer base is more than 3 lakh parents and counting. We are looking for self-motivated and energetic Accountant who can take care of the Company accounts.

Responsibilities and Duties

Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.

Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.

Provide recommendations.

Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions..

Meet financial accounting objectives.

Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases

Ability to manipulate large amounts of data

Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to direct and supervise

Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in Tally
